Overview: The webMethods Software Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting JAGGAER\'s webMethods environment. JAGGAER uses webMethods to integrate its SaaS procurement product and each of our customer\'s systems. This position will be a member of our Production Support team. Key Responsibilities: Code and test webMethods functionality based on internal and external needs using best practices of webMethods development. Maintain existing webMethods integration code, as required. Develop and maintain proficiency in the company\'s software solutions and core technologies. Assist in developing and maintaining webMethods coding standards for use in client and internal projects. Work with internal customers to analyze integrations to perform in-depth technical troubleshooting and recommend appropriate solutions. Assist customers in upgrades and deployments for on-premise installations. Assist in maintaining webMethods environments, keeping them stable, scalable, and updated. Requirements: Minimum five years experience in working with webMethods on both Linux and Windows platforms 1-2+ Years of solid EDI interface design skills with in-depth knowledge of webMethods EDIINT (AS1, AS2 and AS3) solutions within Trading Networks. Strong Working Knowledge of Java, HTTPS communications, SQL, and XML Experience in integrating and supporting hosted software with client\'s existing systems. Proficient in system analysis, procedure analysis, and problem resolution is required. Business automation and workflow process development is desirable. Proficient in the elements required in integrating software applications within a client\'s environment, including system integration/data interface and webMethods application installation and set-up. Must be able to communicate technical solutions to senior management. Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills. Ability to act independently, take initiative and drive tasks and issues to resolution Strong knowledge of software development methodologies is needed.
