Role definition - key responsibilities There is an opportunity for an Integration Consultant to join a segment of the business that supports client developers during the integration into their platform of Customer & Third Party Risk Solution products via API\'s and data feeds, which enables the global financial community to fulfil regulations designed to combat financial crime. The Customer & Third Party Risk Solutions business is well established with a strong client base and experiencing significant growth globally. We are currently expanding our Implementation team to meet the needs of our clients. Role Responsibilities The overall objective of this role is to ensure best use of Customer & Third Party Risk Solution API products for our clients to ensure client retention and optimise revenues. Understands client requirements and use-cases for our products and provides proactive implementation through integration discussions. Provide subject matter expertise on our suite of product and services Rapid knowledge transfer of product related technical capabilities and best practices. Communicate changes to Regulation and Legislation and how these may affect client / partner screening programs. Review and advise on client / partner business processes Provide updates on new data elements introduced and promote robust data integrations. Data analysis and data mapping to inform optimal data integration Collaboratively works with the global sales team in a culture of continued improvement, knowledge sharing and ongoing success. Provide updates on new data elements introduced into the products and advise on further product strategy. Provides feedback to internal teams with a view of driving future product improvements. The role holder should be self-starters and work well independently having the ability to actively carry out research and investigative work using their own initiative. Ability to travel to client sites when required. Required Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies Communication Ability to communicate ideas, findings and other relevant information. Ability to drive internal and external meetings effectively to influence events. Good presentation skills Domain Knowledge Minimum 2 years relevant business support and/or general analysis experience that demonstrates an understanding of AML and/or sanctions compliance. Understands key client business processes that involve the use of risk intelligence data. Understanding of risk screening from a program design or end user perspective. Technical knowledge Essential: Robust technical experience backed up with deep understanding of troubleshooting REST API queries and advanced API debugging skills. Good knowledge of HTTP methods and HTTP requests of the REST API. Experience of integrating an API into CRM systems / other platforms. Knowledge of XML, CSV and data feeds. Good data analysis skills and proficiency in data manipulation Advanced SQL and Excel skills Experience of validating a client\'s API development work Knowledge of Postman or similar API troubleshooting application Basic knowledge of JSON and programming languages. Basic knowledge of Visual Studio/Eclipse. Well-developed interpersonal, client-facing skills written and oral Professional level of spoken and written English Desirable : Intermediate knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk/Grafana/AWS CloudWatch Dashboards. Familiarity with a programming/scripting language - C#, C++ or other common programming language. Education/ Certifications Degree level.
