JD for Senior Application Packager The candidate will be responsible for the design and packaging phases of the application management lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities # 5 years of experience in application packaging. # Must have prior experience with using AdminStudio InstallShield & WiseScript for packaging. Must have packaged applications for Windows 10 operating systems (OS) platforms. # Must be fluent in scripting with Po werShell. # Must be good in scripting with VB Script, and Batch Script as well. # Must have experience using the open-source PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit. # Must have a very goo d understanding of the Windows System Registry and file system, i.e., .dll and .ocx file registration. # Must be good in Quality check of the packaged applications. # Must be able to troubleshoot packaging prob lems. # Must understand a standard packaging process and workflow. # Must understand MSI packaging best practices and standards. # Mac software packaging skills a plus. # Must have an understanding of software deployment leveraging Microsoft System Configuration Manager (SCCM). # Understanding of MUfB, Microsoft Desktop Analytics and MS Intune a plus. # Strong working knowled ge of application packaging and deployment using Packages and Applications. # Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writ ing skills. # Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level must possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as a part of a team of engineers. # Solid understanding of standard client server and networking fundamentals. # Must be a team player and able to think outside the box for solutions. .
