JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY Infrastructure Engineer is one who has skills with monitoring Services & alerts, takes appropriate action based on alerts. Understands the process of start and stop of Services based on SOPs. Carries server health checkups. Wo rks on User account management tasks. Provides access to file share as per requests. Manages Antivirus regular updates on Servers. Installs patches onto Servers & workstations on monthly basis. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES # Should understand backup and its related comp onents and worked on any one or more backup tools # Should have worked on monitoring and reporting tools and related process. # Participate in restore, patching activities, Backup Reporting etc. # Should understand and follow Standard Op erating Proc edures and Knowledge base articles # Scripting Knowledge Automation skills will be a value add. # Strong verbal and written communications skills are desirable. # Flexibility work in shifts for 24x7 support SPECIALIZATION With more and m ore IT inf rastructures switching to the cloud and looking for massively scalable cloud adoption methods, migration from an Oracle database to AWS RDS for PostgreSQL is gaining popularity.
