SQL Administrator - - Database Services Experience in installation and configuration of MS SQL Server 2012 2014 2016 2017 2019 versions, upgrades, maintenance plans etc. Experience in applying necessary SQL Server service packs and CUs Hotfixes Security updates Preparing DR strategies and implementing DR practice tests for mission critical databases to build DR availability confidence Good knowledge on maintaining databases in Azure Experience in identifying bloc kings, deadlocks, index fragmentation, High CPU usage queries. Good knowledge of using DMV#s and DBCC commands for troubleshooting. Expert in Configuring Transactional Replication setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting Expert in High-availabi lity concepts likes clustering, database mirroring, Log shipping, replication and AlwaysOn Provide recommendations with respect to stabilizing environment, and assist with optimizing performance and throughput Plan for table space utilization a nd develop migration plans to ensure data integrity prior to anticipated changes, expansions Performing database refreshes between various DB environments Capacity management which includes planning and recommend the application owners to archive the historical data data file movement to improve the storage capacity Performance and Tuning, Query optimization using SQL profiler, DTA, Perfmon, DMVs, DBCC and SSMS Proactive health checks Experience in Business Intelligence components lik e SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Responsibility for the success of Migration of databases, SSRS & SSAS Good technical knowledge on BI Components & PowerShell scripting & T-SQL scripting Good knowledge on Stored procedure, Triggers, functions & joins E nhancement, Troubleshooting & Maintaining the existing SSRS Reporting Knowledge on Backup and Restoration through Veritas NetBackup backup tool Good knowledge on Security Management like Auditing, Logins & Users. Managing security by creating lo gins and users with necessary permission to maintain Perform database restores or recovery from export dumps or backups & archived logs Perform database tuning and performance optimization activities review tuni.
