Your Role and Responsibilities

• Should have deep understanding of complex queries and language of all DBMS systems
• Should be able to design and architect the Database Schema and model from grounds-up
• Should possess good knowledge on creation of Database tables and Indexes for a large application
• Should have good knowledge on the replication design and implementation in DC-DR scenarios
• Sound knowledge expected on the database optimization tactics
• Should have good knowledge on integrating databases with applications based on Java, C++, Apache, Weblogic, .netframework, etc
• Sound knowledge on Database pooling and its Pros and Cons
• Should have good knowledge on Designing DC,DR and NDR scenarios for SQL as well as NoSql databases
• Should have expertise on query optimization on all major DBMS systems
• Should have experience on Configuration, design and management of backups of databases
• Should have good knowledge on the Concepts of Clustering and achieving Zero RPO on databases

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Should posses sound understanding about the security mechanisms to be implemented on the Database systems
• Should be able to write relevant stored procedures and scripts to automate jobs
• Must possess knowledge on Database encryption and standards used by the industry
• Caching techniques such as Redis Cache DB understanding and knowledge should be a must
• Design and develop large-scale data architectures to support the company\'s big data needs
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, and cloud computing platforms
• Evaluate and recommend big data technologies and tools that can improve the company\'s data management capabilities
• Develop data models and data flow diagrams for big data solutions
• Work with the development team to design and implement big data applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements for big data solutions
• Should be able to handle all the Business Intelligence requirements by using the Bigdata tools and ML engines to come up with predictive and trend-based analysis and recommendations
• Should be well versed with the Change management, problem management and incident management processes
• mandatory experience on atleast 2 databases from within, Cassandra, Mongo DB, Postgress, Oracle
