• Strong Database Administration Skills on Oracle.
• Basic skills on PostgreSQL.
• Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c database experience is required.
• PostgreSQL database experience is a plus.
• Oracle Enterprise manager (OEM) 12c and 13c experience is required.
• Oracle Real Application cluster (RAC) and ASM experience is preferred.
• Oracle Database design and implementation experience is preferred.
• Oracle Database Design/Installation/Configuration/Upgrades/Migration/Data Recovery experience is required.
• Backup/Restore, Database Export/Import, Data pump and RMAN experience is required.
• Disaster recovery and Data Guard experience is required.
• PostgreSQL Backup/Restore and high-availability solutions experience is preferred.
• Knowledge on database migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Performance tuning experience is required in Oracle and preferred in PostgreSQL.
• Create/Support automated scripted solutions to perform various administration and monitoring tasks is required.
• Knowledge on automation using Ansible or Terraform is preferred.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is preferred.
• PostgreSQL database server architecture, concepts, features, and high-availability technologies in Linux environment is preferred.
• Server and operating system knowledge (IBM AIX, Linux and Windows) is required.
• Experience with GxP and SOX (Validated) environments is preferred.
• Knowledge on administering Oracle Database for SAP Applications is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and multi task as required.
• Ability to lead departmental projects as needed.
• Ability to share knowledge with other team members and become SME for multiple areas.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing is required.
• Previous experience with database administration in the cloud is a plus.
