About Alstom in India Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. Today, Alstom in India employs close to 3600 people and in line with Government of India\'s \'Make in India\' policy initiative, Alstom has been investing heavily in the country in producing world class rolling stock, components, design, research and development to not only serve the domestic market, but also rest of the world. India Network and links: Internal: Engineering Dir, Manufacturing Dir, Supply chain Dir. PME Network, Central PME Director. External: Customers, Suppliers & Vendors Overall Purpose of the job: Coordination of the performance KPI reporting, and associated improvement plans for Manufacturing community of the Trains sites Lead deployment of Global standards for Alstom lean production systems at plant level Manage the sharing of best practices within the Train\'s Manufacturing method time improvement in India plants and reduce the gap from method time to actual time. Work with Site MD\'s and Stake holders to develop strategies implementation and track the KPI\'s of Industrial function Need to translate strategy to operation/Cultural application at plant level Leading transformation council meetings with the plants and creating a platform for sharing best practices. Collecting previous years KPI data and preparing draft KPIs for organisation level for new FY / CY Support the deployment of ALSTOM\'s INDUS4.0 initiatives and Innovations to improve the performance Arranging pre review meeting with Top management and getting management approval, cascading and monitoring. Preparing the KPI review schedule for the whole year and sending meeting invitation with agenda to the relevant team as per review frequency. Responsibilities: Coordination of the performance Kpi reporting, and associated improvement plans for Manufacturing community of the Trains sites. Assure on time reporting of each site Assure data consistency, and challenge if required, Realize data analysis, and a deep dive with site in case of deviations to target, Define, and follow up associated action plan for Manufacturing performance improvement, Assure update of Kpi sheets, as required, to have full adherence of data to Kpi definition, Creation of dedicated dashboards for each site to assure performance improvement Manage the sharing of best practices within the Train\'s Manufacturing M tier, Define and deploy a method for sharing best practices between the sites, Assure Train sites can easily access the data, Define and deploy method for implementing best practices cross-sites, as to improve the manufacturing performance of the site Support the deployment of ALSTOM\'s INDUS4.0 initiatives and Innovations to improve the performance of the Train\'s Manufacturing M tier, Gather the REX (Return of Experience) of the first wave deployment of AOS (Advanced Operation System) in close cooperation with the Method and Tools service Assure business requirements for AOS are updated based on the REX Define, in cooperation with the sites, innovative programs in order to improve performance Train\'s Manufacturing M tie The developed programs must be within the framework of Sustaining and/or R&D (Research and Development) budgets, Lead the implementation of the programs, in close cooperation Qualifications & Skills T echnical education. Proven willingness to have a participatory approach in dealing with plant team and labor. Serve as strong technical mentor to the production team.
