Job Description

We're looking for an Imaging Artist to work on packaging production design for Targets owned brands. You will collaborate with a team of art directors and production designers to perform a variety of tasks like retouching, quality control of images, colour correction, compositing, building mock-ups and other duties as assigned. You should have an eye for detail and retouching production experience regarding print and packaging production and apply Imaging production rules to layouts and print ready files while ensuring quality and accuracy of work.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strong knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite and experience in high-end retouching, post-production, and pre-press
Be able to contribute and lead projects along with art directors, production designers, and project managers
Organize and plan details for multiple projects and make timely and quick decisions to meet project deadlines
Name, update and back up files on every job accurately and consistently according to our production standard procedures

Preferred Experience & Educational Profile
Minimum 5 years at an Advertising/Design agency/Retouching Studio
A completed 3/4-year college degree
Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of imaging capabilities, particularly in print & packaging design
Understanding of all Adobe creative tools and experience with image compositing
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong printing & prepress knowledge
Education: Any Graduate
