What you'll need to have

Good knowledge of project and change management methods and tools as well as project management

  • Broad knowledge of the end-to-end buyer journey in an omnichannel reality and online customer behaviors
  • Good understanding how to drive business in a omnichannel retail environment.
  • Skilled in creating a high commercial performance.
  • Strong knowledge of operational plans and goals with ability to follow up on KPIs
  • Broad knowledge of local market environment and expectations from customers today and tomorrow to securecustomer demand and expectations.
  • Broad knowledge on budget setting,implement action plans and follow up goals
Broad knowledge of IKEA tools, processes, and cycles
  • Thorough knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values, and vision

Your responsibilities

Lead all Core Area teams in the store, taking an umbrella view across all Home Furnishing Business
Areas and managing inter-dependencies among the different Core Areas to drive sales, profitability,
and secure peak operational performance in the store
  • Identify your local market potential and work together with your team and other stakeholders to
ensure the store is locally relevant through the different sales channels
  • Secure successful implementation of country priorities and sharing of good solutions.
  • In Collaboration with your team and input from stakeholders, lead and deliver the commercial action
plan for your store to ensure the achievement of the agreed goals to maximise sales and generate
sustained long-term profitability.
  • Measure the performance of sales, volume, and profit to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and act
on deviations and opportunities
  • Analyse financial goals, KPIs and costs, and with your teams, act on deviations
  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing Selling team that will strongly contribute to reach the
common objectives aligned with agreed goals, expectations and follow ups.
  • Apply and drive a culture of interdependent leadership and active cooperation across all functions
within the store and Service Office partners, to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact.
  • Lead in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values
