Key role of our function is for design, implementation and assurance of CSDM/Config/Asset mgmt. on ServiceNow for entire Shell IT Landscape. We integrate data from ITSM / ITBM / ITOM / SecOps and provide easy, simplified and structured access to the data elements across processes and also ensuring data quality to maintain controls.

Accountabilities:

Asset, Config & Service Model

• Extract & access the asset, config & service model data
• Gather requirements, doing the assessments, coordinating with design team for new requirements
• Interface with stakeholders and help with data upload or related issues
• Onboarding Asset, config and service model data based on the design and workflow
• Design & build asset, config and service model reports
• Participation in asset, config and service model forums
• Add/update documents related asset, config and service model
• Create and update knowledge articles as per the guidance from advisors
• Works with 3rd party suppliers to ensure alignment of configuration items that result in accurate and complete data inventory.
• Co-ordinates the global datacenter audits to ensure data captured in the configuration management systems is accurate and complete
• Generates the Asset, Config and CSDM dashboard to provide the current status of Key Performance Indicators and ensures remediation actions are undertaken in a timely manner
• Maintains operational work instructions to ensure up to date ways of working are available for the reference by natural teams.
• Access process performance and compliance against Critical Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators and raises and drives back to green plans as needed to drive Operational Excellence
• Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders specifically how Config and CSDM Management process and tooling underpins the efficient and effective End to End execution of maintaining business applications and ITSM Services data
• Design the data models and implementation of new services (Application and Infrastructure)
• Impact assessments and provide necessary evidence to advisors
• Provide asset, config and service model process and tool trainings to stakeholders

Mandatory Skills:

• Total 5 - 8 years of work experience in IT
• Any Graduate
• Good knowledge on CSDM, ITAM and Config life cycle
• Good knowledge on asset onboarding, asset refresh and disposal process
• ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management Exposure
• Knowledge of Data Models and relationships
• Skilled in data assessment and reporting
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Influence others without formal authority to deliver desired results
• A readiness to take technical accountability for work delivered
• Fluent in the English language both verbal and written
