Job Summary
This position reports to the Director of Product Management (Digital Innovation & Transformation). This role will be responsible for managing and supporting the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes across the Sales Go-to-Market organization with significant business process experience with Quote to Cash. Partner closely with all major business functions across the quote to cash life cycle, including sales, deal desk, sales operations, sales finance, order management, pricing, product management, invoicing, and revenue finance. Drive major cross-functional initiatives that are enabled through core CPQ functionality. Responsibilities include functional expertise in the Quoting, Pricing and Product Configuration processes.

Essential Functions
Partner with the Quote to Cash (Q2C) scrum teams and global business owners to address process improvement and drive efficiency
Take complete ownership of the business deliverables including any customizations and enhancements in the Sales CPQ areas. Reduce cycle time and improve through put and delivery of the IT development team
Ability to discuss functional and the solution aspects of a project effectively with IT development. Should be quickly able to understand and evaluate the challenges
Participate, influence and drive cross-functional projects that impact the Quote to Cash processes.
Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies across Q2C, primarily in the CPQ area. Also, drive scalability initiatives in an effort to make the systems and processes more reliable, predictable and efficient
Good communication is a must. Dealing with business partner is very important aspect of this role.
Collaborate with key business stakeholders, IT, external partners and third-party software vendors to implement effective and resilient solutions
Able to juggle multiple projects & tasks and successfully prioritize and deliver results in the face of competing business interests
Proactively refine upstream solutions to avoid downstream business or IT process and data issues
Undertake post-implementation business support and troubleshoot and resolve systems issues working with the IT support team
Nice to have third party software experience related to CPQ
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Review and analyze content and performance metrics to recommend new organizational methodologies
  • Understand business and content-related problems to identify and present solutions
  • Provide support and ongoing services for internal clients in accordance with SLAs
  • Manages overall Services project calendar and prioritization
  • Develops overall project plan models, templates, and resourcing requirements
  • Creates and manages individual project plans and secures resources (includes determining support roles)
  • Transforms current project planning tools by aligning with best practice systems and processes
  • Defines processes and requirements for request-related platform architecture (EnableNow instance)
Qualifications

Qualifications Requirements
Requires 5-6 years of business process experience with strong knowledge of CPQ. Primary focus on gathering requirements, process improvements and solution design. Extensive experience as a business analyst in the Quote to Cash lifecyle, with CPQ as the core. Strong business partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional initiatives, enhancements and support issues. Exposure to a third party CPQ is desirable.

To be successful in this role you have:
  • Extensive experience with organization methodologies for large volumes of content including folder architectures and metadata
  • Ability to understand existing content structure and use-cases to help guide new structure implementation
  • Experience with re-architecting platforms that have a singular product-focused architecture to a more complex matrixed focus.
  • Critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise
  • Ability to communicate with and manage stakeholders outside the enablement organization, build a team of advocates
  • 5-10 years of experience in management consulting, asset management marketing, sales operations, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to initiate and manage relationships with customers at all levels
  • Knowledge of data systems and structures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • A 'can do' attitude to fast-paced and dynamic situations, challenges and customers
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business value and ROI
