Your Role and Responsibilities

• Expert in the physical infrastructure and support systems (with focus on HVAC systems) for IT and IT related equipment.
• Experience and advanced education with accreditation respect to Mechanical engineering comprising Chiller systems, Ventilation systems, Diesel generator sets, fuel systems, precision cooling systems comprising CRAC units, high density cooling, In row cooling, piping designs, pumps, chilled water storages etc.
• Able to identify problems related to HVAC facilities installation, configuration, operations, or performance and have knowledge of the client's availability and performance requirements.
• To provide technical advice, planning, design, implementation, construction, commissioning, project management, and strategy to all aspects of HVAC system Infrastructure and facilities required for proper operation of data centres and specialized facilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of data center facility assessment, conceptual design and implementation comprising HVAC systems, generators, chillers, DCIM, Fire systems, BMS etc.
• Familiar with green data center concept, energy efficiency challenges and innovative solutions.
• Complete data center system high level requirements definition and design, including architectural, layout, mechanical, security and energy efficiency.
• Capturing client's future IT architecture requirements and how this translates into data center components specifications with focus on HVAC design.
• Understanding client requirements in terms of business strategy and the impact of the data center requirements.
• 10 years of experience in engineering/ HVAC consulting and IT industry.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Above average communication and presentation skills, Fluent in English, willing to support Teams in many different time Zones.
• Desirable to have Knowledge of UPTIME/LEED design certification.
