Job Description

Job Role: HVAC Engineer (Minimum 6 to 8 years of Experience having B.E and B.Tech. degree in Mechanical stream or equivalent). Knowledge in HVAC system is mandatory. Knowledge in firefighting along with the HVAC system shall be given preference. Job Responsibilities: Having hand on experience of detail engineering of HVAC system and Firefighting system for Thermal Power Plant (FGD, ESP, CHP etc. packages). Should have knowledge of Heat load estimation of AC facility (Control Room, VFD room, SO2 analyzer rooms & other AC areas), type of Air-conditioned equipment selection based on various TR ratings. Should be conversant with air-conditioned equipment layout (AHU, PAC etc.) along with ducting layout and air distribution inside AC rooms. Should be familiar with latest Indian and International code like ISHRAE, ASHRAE, Carrier Handbook etc. Knowledge in HVAC software like HAP, ELITE etc. will be an added advantage. Should also be responsible for Heat load calculation of Ventilated area (Wet and Dry), finalization ofEvaporative type Unitary Air Filtration (UAF) unit for Switchgear and Cable sheller rooms, Type of Dry ventilation for various plant and non-plant buildings. Responsible for pre order and post order engineering like preparation of Design Basis Report (DBR), Specification, Layout Engineering, Vendor offer review, bid evaluation, vendor finalization, providing inputs to Civil, Electrical and C&I for their interface engineering of complete HVAC package comprising of various equipment like AHU, Precession and normal PAC, Duct-able Split AC, Split Ac, UAF, Fan, Duct, Pump etc. All kind of technical discussion, clarification, resolution with vendor, customer/consultant also to be performed by the candidate. The candidate who has the knowledge of Fire Fighting system of Power Plant (ex. Hydrant and Spray system as per NFPA) along with the above-mentioned HVAC system shall be given preference.
