Candidates must be an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a min of 3-7 year of experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an established career in residential, commercial and industrial design specific to Design and Construction documentation with familiarity of Air-conditioning & Ventilation drafting standards as per ISHRAE. Duties will include performing all HVAC engineering tasks for projects, planning and drafting,sizing of equipment,ducts,chilled water,shafts & equipment rooms, coordination with other disciplines , BOQ Takeoff sheet, Verification of shop drawings and reviewing with clients. Education: l Educational qualification - ITI /Diploma in Mechanical engineering . l 3-7 years of minimum experience in HVAC using AutoCAD. l Experience with Revit MEP software preferred l Maths skills and attention to detail Job Requirements: These are the typical duties for a HVAC Draughtsman job description: l 3-7 years of experience in Mechanical Air-conditioning and Ventilation systems engineering design using computer aided design CAD software l Working simultaneously on multiple residential,commercial & industrial projects. l Producing rough sketches or conceptual single line diagram before moving on to 2D and 3D computer aided drafting l The candidate should be well versed in duct sizing ,chilled water pipe sizing ,sizing for plant room,equipment rooms ,shaft planning,access for maintenance. l Experience working with chilled water scheme, ventilation scheme and smoke exhaust scheme. l Experience working with Basement Ventilation including shaft planning. l Developing creative and innovative solutions to finish the drafting work. l The candidate must have a detail-oriented mindset with respect to producing drawings l Working with Senior Draughtsman to gain experience and a strong understanding of design principles l Liaising with the engineering team and other professionals/work closely with other team members l Following the direction of Project Managers and Reporting progress on a daily basis l Producing quantity estimation measurement sheet as per design drawings l Verifying shop drawings as per design intent produced l Knowledge of basic use of Excel, PowerPoint presentation and MS Word is a must.
