Job Overview The HR Workday Data Specialist role is responsible for delivering high quality, personalized customer service and Workday system support, in a team-based environment. Key accountabilities include supporting organization administration and data management related efforts to ensure compliance and accuracy of organization, position, and employee data in our HCM system, Workday. Along with transactional process, and ongoing auditing, this role is involved in validating and providing guidance and recommendations to HR Service Center Representatives and Human Resources Partners and as to how information should be updated. Main Responsibilities 75% Inquiry Resolution/System Data Management Primary focus to receive and process in-bound global requests for organization administration transactions and adhering to the 1-3 day SLA, including but not limited to: Assigning superior organizations Move workers Data corrections Mass salary increases Mass position/req management Primary resource to manage the Workday inbox requests Primary resource supporting Manufacturing and Haagen Dazs employee populations Performs regular audits of Workday data to support data quality and governance initiatives. Creates and manages remediation plans to correct data inaccuracies. Works closely with team members to provide day-to-day support to functional areas, employees, HR partners, and HR Direct Representatives Provides guidance to assist HR partners, employees, and HR Service Center (HR Direct) Representatives in the structure and use of data in the Workday system Manages workload and employee communication through case management system (ServiceNow) Escalates complicated transactions or mass change consultation to the Lead Specialist, HR Workday Services 15% Process & System Continuous Improvement Identifies user trends and communicates to HR Governance team when audits or training opportunities exist that could minimize errors Makes recommendations to HR Governance team for systematic or process changes to simplify, and improve procedures that would enhance the user experience, and improve data quality. 10% System Governance Ensure all requests for data changes and other system actions adhere to established governance protocols and processes Support HR Analysts in system testing for semi-annual releases or ongoing system changes, as needed Education And Experience Minimum Degree Requirements: Associates Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors Minimum years of related experience required: 1 Preferred years of related experience: 1-3 Specific Job Experience Or Skills Needed Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks. Case Management system experience preferred Workday (HCM) knowledge and experience preferred Effective customer service by using a consultative and friendly demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication, experience with presentations, stakeholder management, and communications at high levels in the organization. Effective research, and self-learning ability to expand knowledge in Workday functionality, GMI processes, and self-development/skill building (e.g. Workday Community, G&Me, GoLearn) Excel skills (pivot table, vlookup, ability to research and continually learn and expand skillset with this tool). Utilizes it to conduct analysis and save time instead of manual entry or analysis.
