Job summary
The role will be responsible for managing the HRP teams for corporate teams across WW Ops (Dave Clark), International Consumer (Russ Grandinetti), NA Consumer (Doug Herrington) and SPS (Dharmesh).
Key responsibilities include:

  • HRP Manager is expected to drive synergies through coordinating with business and respective line HR leaders
  • HRP Manager will review the queries assigned via Panorama for their team and divides the domain areas as appropriate, ensuring we are improving on our response SLAs, and Customer Experience
  • HRP manager will hold MBRs with respective HR leaders and HRBPs of the team to share insights across common areas and business specific areas
  • HRP Manager will drive efficiencies and drive continuous improvements in various processes like query resolution, engagement with employees, and data reporting needs
  • HRP Manager will deep dive into different categories of queries to look at opportunities for standardization and optimization and to drive process improvements at scale through HR Partners
  • Incumbent will work with HR leaders of respective teams to understand the business needs and goals and assign them to HRPs in the team
  • HRP manager will work with the HRP team, and
a. Demonstrate understanding of performance and leadership bar and effectively applies to hiring decisions and direct reports
b. Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports to help grow individual functional skills and leadership capability, with support from senior managers
c. Set goals for individuals to achieve department or function level goals
In addition, the role holder will also support teams in the capacity of a HR Partner. The role will provide employee and frontline manager support to teams across WW Ops, International Consumer, NA Consumer and SPS.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Design, deliver and constantly improve our Onboarding Programs for the business, in order to guarantee a positive Day 1/employee experience
  • Partner with HR Services (HRS) to ensure that people processes are continuously reviewed and streamlined
  • Act as the local expert on requests that are site specific like policies and labor law changes
  • Support front line people managers on performance management cases
  • Supports Employee Relations processes and consult managers on people matters that require knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation, across multiple countries
  • Manage employee engagement programs and support managers with action plans to drive improvements
  • Provide the tools, framework and support to HR Business Partners and Business Managers on change initiatives and execute change plans locally
  • Support the Talent Management process, developing toolkits and communications that help managers to be self-sufficient
  • Enable the success of new and experienced managers by leveraging, delivering and improving existing training content
  • Support with, and coach front line managers for career development conversations
  • Act as stewards of the employee experience and Amazon "culture keepers"
  • Act as POC and Program Manager for people tools, processes, programs or projects and manage implementation and review of those
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Partners on key HR areas/projects that are critical for the site/Region, such as introduction of new policies or benefits
  • Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate
  • Degree in Human Resources with about 5-7 years' work experience, This role will require 25% travel to other location in India Ability to analyze organization and individual needs and create the most cost-effective package to meet them Experience in dealing with contingent workforce will be an advantage Proven understanding of the role and functions of a human resource office within an operations structure Proven ability to use initiative in carrying out tasks Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to organize workload to assure that short timelines are met while having frequent interruptions Exposure to multi-state and international employment law
  • Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of employment laws
  • Ability to influence and drive initiatives with Global HR partners
