Your day to day
Financial returns: . Participate in the preparation of and work within the established Human Resources department budget. . Regular monitoring of staffing to manage the PTEB cost . Monthly preparation of Payroll in coordination with the Finance team . Identify and analyse local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness. . Monitor the expenses related to colleague accommodation, cafeteria, transportation etc People: . Actively involved in driving the IHG Winning Ways culture at the hotel . Ensure Room to be yourself experience to hotel colleagues (IHG Commitment) . Communicate and create awareness of all People policies from time to time . Regular tracking of recruitments, conducts HR interviews . Regularly monitor colleague facilities like Colleague restaurant, lockers, Bunker, transportation, accommodation etc . Monitor the maintenance of the Heart of the House . Assist in driving the performance management system in the hotel . Create awareness of discipline at the workplace in light of the IHG Progressive discipline policy . Conduct exit interviews, compile monthly/yearly reports, analyse the causes and share them with department heads . Provide counselling, coaching and guidance for colleagues to optimise their potential . Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations . Contributes towards regional activities as directed by Regional Director of Human Resources / General Manager Guest experience: . Participate in Service standards audits and share feedback . Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experience. . Ensure that Department Heads abide by their responsibilities of employee-related departmental SOPs . Conducts/Drive Service Standard Audits and shares feedback with department heads Responsible for business: . Drive IHG Corporate Responsibility Initiatives at the hotel (IHG Academy, IHG Foundation activities etc) . Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in the local community. . Ensure all HR statutory compliance Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programmes. Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as the manager on duty.
What we need from you
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in hotel management. A post Graduation in Humana Resource Management/ training is desirable. 4 years of relevant experience or a similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
