Purpose:

The role of the HUB Business Manager is to manage the end-to-end hub business in profitable and sustainable manner. He / She will be responsible for customer development, electric vehicles charging management, driver engagement and asset & infrastructure management. He/she will be responsible for accuracy and timely achievement of all business performance metrics and ensure that the Vision, Mission, and Objectives of moEVing are upheld every time.

The position is therefore responsible for:

  • Electric Vehicle Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for Management of vehicle, including daily vehicle deployment, charging infrastructure and customer
  • People Management including driver and team engagement to create a healthy and conducive working environment.
  • Profitable operations management \xe2\x80\x93 ensure that the site is profitable by ensuring high revenue generating contracts and stringent cost control.
  • Customer Relationship and support \xe2\x80\x93 build and grow the business through customer engagement.
  • Driver mobilization \xe2\x80\x93 ensure a steady stream of drivers to support regular vehicle deployment without any disruptions.
  • Building the DCO (Driver cum Owner) portfolio by encouraging ownership programs with the drivers and local small fleet operators.
  • Management Information (MI) related activities and HUB level P&L management.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and upkeep by ensuring regular learning programs for drivers and supervisors.
  • Operational Security \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure protection of all assets including vehicles, charging infra
  • Operational Vendor Management \xe2\x80\x93 maintain positive interaction with third party vendors including hiring agencies, Charging Point Operators, local lessors, landlords.
  • Charging Infrastructure management to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Cost Management \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that all the cost efficiency related to operations and asset management are adhered to as per the industry norms
  • Tech Adoption \xe2\x80\x93 moEVing app is properly utilized by the hub people and drivers on daily basis

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Operational

  • Effectively implement all operations\xe2\x80\x99 processes as per the client requirement based on all relevant operational processes, controls, and
  • Manage the day-to-day operational activities in the client\xe2\x80\x99s warehouse/hub and/or company\xe2\x80\x99s charging
  • Manage office/charging infrastructure in terms of manpower, recruitment, charging
  • Ensure timely reporting and closing of vehicles with proper usage of vehicles & optimization of route throughout, to maintain and stabilize the costs within the budget. Proper Trip sheets to be maintained for all vehicles (contract or market) and for Bikers/Drivers (Owned or Contractual) with complete point-to-point details of the
  • Ensure that all relevant MIS data is uploaded onto the operational system of the company in an accurate and timely

Profitable Operations Management:

  • Ensure HUB operations are profitable at an organizational level.
  • Focus on high revenue generating business opportunities.
  • Manage operational costs and perform within set cost budget.
  • Optimize operational costs continually to ensure required profitability.
External Customer & Vendor Relationship and support
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, ensuring high level of team, Customer and Vendor satisfaction. Ensure on-time collection and delivery of consignments every time, to meet Customer Satisfaction.

Business Support:

  • Provide necessary operational support to Business Development function to grow existing customers as well as acquire new

Infrastructure Development:

  • Plan and set up charging infrastructure to support the client operations, within given time.

People Management

  • Build a high quality and motivated operations team at field
  • Continue to innovate and develop operational expertise and skill-sets of personnel so as to continually improve efficiency & productivity of the system taking the business lines to the next
  • Plan & arrange functional training periodically to ensure total people
  • Oversees the recruitment activities and effective workforce
  • Ensure all operations\xe2\x80\x99 employees remain engaged; appraise their efficiency and productivity from time to time (atleast on a monthly basis).

Security / Risk Management

  • Create security awareness among employees to ensure the safety of staff, infrastructure and

Finance & Administration
