Job Title: Business Manager - RISK ISPL - VP1 Date: July 2023 Department: RISK Location: Mumbai Business Line / Function: ISPL Risk Management Reports to: (Direct) CRO, ISPL Grade: (if applicable) NA (Functional) CRO, ISPL Number of Direct Reports: NA Directorship / Registration: NA Position Purpose In the context of its 2025 strategic plan, the RISK Function is launching several initiatives to enhance the India RISK Hub\'s operating model. We are looking for an experienced professional to work as a Business Manager to support the CRO office on various initiatives, supporting the ramp up of the platform, mutualisation between teams, improvement in operating processes, budgeting process and provide Project Management support. The initiatives will be conducted in close coordination across RISK hubs, Group and Regional RISK teams and working locally with ISPL Business Management and CIB India RISK Management. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities RISK Business Management Support . Provide business management support for administrative, financial and operational activities for the CRO office. . Support requirements for reporting on a periodic basis in close coordination with the CRO: - RISK Assurance and control forums, visitors packs - Governance forums to support the CRO for ISPL Board pack, KPI metrics, ISPL RISK dashboard etc. . Drive delivery of organizational wide leadership initiatives, ad-hoc assignments for RISK . Support creation of meeting material and presentations . Secretarial support for select meetings and forums including ISPL governance committees and Board to support the ISPL CRO . Local coordination with Finance and Project Management Office on Budgets, expense management and Forecasting for ISPL. Coordination with Group Risk for budgeting process . Coordination with RISK Transformation and RISK Consulting teams in Paris for alignment on headcount, transition and transformation projects for ISPL . Coordination with local Finance, HR, Legal teams, IT Security teams for sign-off for creation of new SLAs for new activity migration into ISPL. . Create presentations and packs to support the CRO office for ISPL and Branch. . Local ISPL coordination and oversight for annual review and maintenance of SLA management with Project Management Office and SLA teams at ISPL . Act as a single point of contact for BCM responsibilities across RISK hub and coordinate between ISPL RISK stream Leads and ISPL BCM team on matters pertaining to creation and maintenance of BIAs, call tree testing, DR testing and BCM seat testing across multiple sites and submission of results to the BCM team. . Organize events - strategy meet, CSR activities etc. . Coordination with local entity Business Management teams for local governance (hubs info. requests for CEO office) and administrative matters (incl. real estate strategy and headcount planning etc.) Contributing Responsibilities Project Management . Support with tracking and monitoring Strategic and transversal projects for India RISK team . Undertake pre-initiation tasks for projects and prepare documentation . Define deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage delivery. . Conduct project workgroups and stakeholder meetings and compile project progress reports with appropriate KPI /metrics including transformation Technical & Behavioral Competencies . Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation and writing skills . Working knowledge of Power BI . Fluent in English . Project management skills and some experience on working on enterprise wide projects . Transversal skills with ability to understand, explain and support change management . Experience in offshoring / outsourcing consulting tasks would be a plus . Ability to collaborate and work with global teams being a good team player . Strong communication . Willingness to work within stringent timelines . Ability to multitask and be agile . Analytical and problem solving skills . Integrates the multi-cultural dimension and different interpersonal styles and ways of working in her / his approach . Elaborates network of contacts in order to increase his/her influence, in the strict respect of confidentiality rules Specific Qualifications (if required) . 10-12 years of experience in the financial services domain . Experience in project management . Experience in risk management and controls functions is a plus . Data analysis and problem solving skills . Strong interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation, influencing skills, teamwork) .
