The APAC HRPS team is seeking a highly motivated Risk & Control Process Lead Manager to join our team. This individual will report to the Head of APAC HRPS PMO Project Management Office & Ops Operations Support. They will be the process lead representing HRPS on several key HR initiatives and projects. This role will interact closely with key HR partners, including HR Control and Compliance, HR Professional Services managers and team members, global technology partners, and other key functional partners. The position requires a highly organized and driven individual who has demonstrated successes in complex organizational initiatives. The individual will be responsible for owning end to end processes, representing the broader HRPS in cross-Citi forums, and partnering with others to define solutions and proactively identify opportunity areas. They should have excellent interpersonal skills, strong data management skills, and work constructively with people across various functional departments and geographies to facilitate deliverables. Qualified candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of the scope of operations, compliance, technology, and business functions and how they interact to achieve business and regulatory objectives. Prior process improvement and reengineering experience and strong leadership and communication skills is required to identify and influence opportunities internally, and often at a senior level. Role Responsibilities:

  • The HRPS Risk & Control Process Lead Manager will work on tactical and strategic initiatives and get involved in day-to-day ad hoc items that arise and require oversight and risk and control leadership. There is a strong emphasis on control and remedial process work
  • Lead activities to assess existing regulatory processes, and leverage process improvement frameworks and tools to identify improvement opportunities, working with APAC Regional HR Risk and Control team.
  • Design and implement regional HRPS communication strategy and control structure to ensure all stakeholders are involved in and aware of key change/control activities (system, process, policy, training)
  • Create key management presentations for various audiences that articulate solutions to Identify and address pain points, roadblocks and root causes through problem solving, solutioning and conflict resolution.
  • Create and host trainings and educational forums with broader HRPS teams on key process controls and identified risk.
  • Attend global meetings working with other regional counterparts and representing the interests of APAC HRPS
  • Maintain internal system of record to support accurate and timely project details for audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify, assess, communicate, monitor, control, mitigate and escalate risks.
  • Identify and escalate issues and updates to the HRPS Leadership team for immediate awareness and resolution
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

  • Ability to track and report quantified progress to senior management / stakeholders
Education/ Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's/University degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering programs across multiple disciplines, including HR, Operations, Project / Program Management, Process Reengineering, Relationship Management, or Risk & Control Operations
  • Experience working on large scale change initiatives and issue management
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate with diverse teams comprised of many backgrounds, perspectives, and skill sets
  • Proficiency in tools such as Teams, Workday, ServiceNow, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
