Primary Job Location: Gurgaon(Preferred), Bangalore(Secondary)

Employment type : Contractual Role for 9 months duration.

Role purpose:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Lead to join Global HR Services Team. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the projects and act as a SME and provides operational support to HR Fraternity.
  • This will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including, HRIS, IT, finance to ensure smooth transition and successful launch of the newly carved out business. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to show where you were accountable for the strategic support, project management and delivery of business transformation covering different business functions in Colt.
  • You will have a commercial mind-set and will be responsible for pro-actively identify cost saving and improvement in line with the business strategy. Overall there is a key requirement for enhanced governance and control, including the implementation of formal change approval processes.
  • The role will also be responsible for collaborating with the Global Process owners and working with them collaboratively and acting as and SME or CoE for different critical processes including cross functional.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including finance, HR, IT, HRIS and other business units, to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, such as legal and financial issues
  • Create and manage project budget and ensure that all activities are completed within budget and on time
  • Establish and manage relation ships with external service providers, such as consultants and advisors, as necessary.
  • Provide regular update to senior management and other stakeholders on the progress of the carve out process
  • Develop and implement a communication plan to ensure all employees are aware of the changes and have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the new business units and leadership team to establish a clear strategic direction and operational plan for the newly carved out business
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives
  • Act as a resource for project management skills by having the ability to 1) manage timelines and deliverables; 2) manage task and duties related to process improvement projects; 3) proficiently use MS Office Suite; all to ensure the timely progress of process improvement initiatives
  • Support the work of the business through administration of 1) project timelines and deliverables; 2) development of tracking systems; 3) development of standard documentation; 4) organization of department documents; all to assist associates with achieving successful process improvements.
  • Act as an SME for HR Service Centre team and work collaboratively with Global process owners
  • Ensuring that operational systems and processes, of the Global HR Services Team are effective and aligned with the wider business, making sure design methodology, approval process, change controls and documentation are standardized and consistently applied
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with project stakeholders, project team members, and senior leaders
Role specific requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience. Bachelor\'s degree with 3-5 years progressive experience in HR Operations (Global)
  • Strong Project Management and Transitioning skills with respect to organization, prioritization and time management. Experience of managing HR projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to carve out transactions
  • Having teamwork skills and have Knowledge and experience in Project/Program Management
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross- functionally with other leaders
  • Understanding of data flows, integrations, and application programmatic interfaces
  • Project Costing and cost modeling
  • Exposure to HR transformation program with Change Management skills and HR operations processes
  • Knowledge of HR systems like Success Factor
