We are searching for a People Analytics Consultant to join our Global Talent Management team. This role will report to the Talent and Organizational Analytics Director to execute on our global talent management strategy and long-term roadmap linked to TD SYNNEX's business and Human Capital strategy. Examples of projects include predictive human capital analytics such as workforce forecasting and planning; global talent analytics such as succession plans, internal movement; strategic organizational diagnostics; and learning/leadership and organizational culture surveys.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing large data sets, and is adept at applying advanced statistical techniques such as ANOVA, cluster analysis, multiple regression, text analysis using NLP, etc. Candidate must also be proficient using data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI. These techniques will be leveraged to help HR make data-driven decisions. Experience in HR is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership with key stakeholders: collaborate with HR and other business leaders to identify, define, and solve of complex problems that have impact on the direction of the people side of business. Leverage available data to inform HR strategies and deliver key business objectives
  • Data import, export and analysis: utilization of platform tools to import and/or export into excel/csv and prepare for analysis in statistical and data visualization tools.
  • Data mining and cleansing: able to manage/organize data sets from various sources (e.g., Workday, external platforms, etc.) and build impactful visualizations. Must be comfortable dealing with imperfections in data from disparate sources.
  • Data visualization: familiar with data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI.
  • Critical thinking: using data to answer questions with appropriate statistical tests, hypothesis testing, and understanding of how to leverage insights for various audiences. Understanding and knowledge of how to apply organizational psychology principles and concepts in support of the work.
  • Communication Skills: able to clearly communicate (oral and written) the synthesis of data, as well as data analyses, graphs, and advanced statistical analysis to executive leaders and people unfamiliar with analytical tools and/or output in a compelling way, specifically to "tell the story" and inform potential future actions and strategies.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Able to recognize and rectify details with accuracy.
  • Working knowledge and experience of performing advanced and predictive statistics.
  • Data visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Capable of working in a professional, office environment and communicating clearly when conveying necessary information.
  • Ability to remain organized and meet deadlines given multiple priorities.
  • Experience using R, Python, SPSS, etc.
  • Experience 3 to 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Master's/postgraduate degree in Data Science, Organizational Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is preferred.
