Job Description

• A leadership opportunity in Manufacturing Engineering for a leading Multi-National OEM with multiple manufacturing plants in the India region among other countries
• Work towards implementing industry best practices and assisting the manufacturing function

• Develop equipment in line with the requirements, assist in installation and commissioning and ensure smooth manufacturing operations
• Ensure timely ramp up of manufacturing lines in line with the requirements
• Effectively plan and monitor all capital expenditures
• Work towards making the setup / equipment more efficient
• Drive various cost saving initiatives
• Continuously evaluate existing manufacturing processes for improvements in coordination with operators, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Work in cross functional teams with stakeholders from engineering, production, procurement
• Work with stakeholders from multiple manufacturing locations within India and abroad
• Motive and grow the team under the Head Manufacturing Engineering

• Engineering Graduate-B.E/B.Tech or equivalent/higher with 15-20 years of work experience with relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• 10+ Years of experience in People Leadership
• Prior experience of setting up lines, ramping up production and technology transfer
• Excellent communicator who has worked in cross functional team
