Job Responsibilities Ensure timely and correctly computation and payment of Direct and Indirect Taxes on a periodical basis and filing of relevant returns - like GST, TDS Returns, Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Fringe Benefit Tax, Excise duty

• 
  Coordinate Audits, Assessments and Litigation Management with external consultants.
• 
  Actively seeks out information / data from cross functional teams and reconciliation of Revenue, Purchase, Output GST & Input GST with Financials Preparing and providing schedules to Statutory Auditors and Accounting team.
• 
  Advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives and tax optimization. Update latest development & changes in GST Act with appropriate departments and implementation of such changes within organization
• 
  Liaising with government authorities and tax consultants to facilitate operations by smooth tax management
• 
  Quarterly reconciliation of 26AS tax credit with customer ledgers, balance confirmation to customers & service providers
• 
  Ensuring correct reporting of tax charges and assets/ liabilities in the company's financial statements
• 
  Providing strategic inputs for Direct & Indirect Tax Provisions, guidance and reports for all tax matters, including tax audit, timely and accurate payment of advance taxes, cross border transfer pricing issues
• 
  Ensuring minimum litigation by timely dispute resolution and up to date completion if assessment, appeals, refunds and submissions
• 
  Should be up-to-date on tax laws and rules and have an expert level understanding of relevant tax laws and rules.
