About the Role

As the People Lead for our India region, you will drive and support the growth and development of our organization. You will oversee both Talent Acquisition and People Operations reporting into the VP of People for Spotnana in the U.S. You must be creative, thoughtful, and driven, which will allow you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and our hiring managers. Data excites you and you enjoy drawing insights from analytics to make sure our processes are optimized and operating efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of recruiters to source and hire top talent (technical & non-tech) efficiently and effectively
  • Lead our local people operations team and initiatives
  • Provide a positive experience for every candidate
  • Source active and passive candidates through internal referrals, networking, external databases, and research
  • Drive and support all People Operations programs, processes and procedures related to the entire employee lifecycle including but not limited to onboarding and offboarding, HR compliance, HRIS management, policy and employee handbook development and internal mobility
  • Continually evaluate all processes for scalable optimization and recommend methods to automate, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technology to support the full cycle employee experience
  • Ensure all employee changes and policies are consistently documented, updated and communicated
  • Proactively leverage People data and metrics to share reports on trends and opportunities and meet reporting and auditing requirements
  • Manage all HR systems (including but not limited to our HRIS, internal database and internal knowledge sharing systems) with timely updates and accuracy ensuring data integrity and scalable processes
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by adhering to existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally
  • Cultivate a positive and productive working environment for our employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle
  • Develop strategies and frameworks for benefits administration, compensation structures, and compliance with employment law & regulations
  • Drive employee experience programs to help make Spotnana the best moment of our employee's careers

Qualifications:

  • You embrace our company values and believe in our mission
  • 7+ years of related experience; global tech and/or start-up experience is a plus with at least 3+ years of experience leading recruitment across tech and non technical roles
  • A strong command of the critical components of a successful HR department including employment law, performance management, resolving conflict, having difficult conversations, employee engagement, training, maintaining employee files, and managing operational budgets
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You are a problem solver and someone who loves taking initiative
  • Strong understanding of how to navigate a distributed, hybrid workforce as we expand our facilities and locations
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems at a senior level, providing feedback, guidance, and direction
  • Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality; demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and inform appropriately while maintaining the required sensibilities in handling confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication, highly organized with a focus on delivering business results
  • Able to pivot and adapt when needs change
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse or similar ATS, LinkedIn, referral programs, job boards, and social media/networking platform
  • Proven track record recruiting for a wide range of niche roles
  • You are able to run a full cycle recruiting process and own engaging talent and collaboration with the hiring team
  • Able to articulate business needs, evaluate talent and close senior talent
