India Tech Hub - Bangalore
The Tech Hub is an integral part of the digital transformation journey for Volvo Cars. The Tech Hub is a strategic player, providing skills and competencies in areas such as cloud solutions, data science and analytics, SAP, UX/UI and we are part of managing key technology platforms within various domains such as R&D, manufacturing & logistics and the commercial area.

What you\'ll do
We call our HR organsiation at Volvo Cars People Experience (PX). As our new colleague and Head of People Experience, you will be part of the People Experience-organization and responsible for driving the people agenda across all areas in the India Tech Hub. Within the field of PX, you will support various stakeholders from both the business and people perspective. You will have opportunities to influence and develop our ways of working and challenge us. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of PX Digital Core and have dotted reporting to the Head of India Tech Hub. You will also be part of the Country Leadership-team for India Tech Hub, where you are expected to be a strong voice of the people agenda, as well as contribute in a holistic way to a healthy way of developing the organization further.

Main responsibilities

  • Take an active part in the design/execution of the PX support areas, and strategic business plan and own the People Agenda for India Tech Hub
  • Key member of the India Tech Hub Leadership Team, developing and executing the people strategy across Tech Hub India
  • Collaborate with, and support, Country PX lead on compliance and audit topics.
  • Ensure harmonized implementation of people related core processes and key initiatives in India Tech Hub aligned to Global PX processes.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with line managers regarding the People Agenda
  • Actively support business initiatives and business needs with effective people measures and promote positive employee engagement
  • Consult closely with the business and advise on key people issues; contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to business direction and needs; establish PX objectives in line with business objectives.
  • Supports the business on personnel budget planning
  • Lead and develop the India Tech Hub People Experience-team
What you\'ll bring

We are looking for you with:
  • Master\'s Degree in Human Resources from a reputed institution
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a senior HR managerial position?
  • 12 to 16 years total experience in the area of Human Resources
  • Documented strong knowledge and experience of working with compensation and benefits
  • Having experience from leading HR in a local India function, being part of a global organization
  • Strong knowledge of local labor law in India
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office,
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
It is an advantage if you also have:
  • Having experience from an organization operating in the field of IT/engineering
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and various analytics tools such as Power BI
