Who we are looking for The Head of Human Resources - India, Senior Vice President leads the local Global Human Resources (GHR) function and is responsible for providing human resources solutions which drive business performance and meet the organization\'s current and future talent needs. The role provides leadership to the India based GHR team consisting of HRBPs and employees aligned with GHRs global centres of expertise (COEs) . Supporting a growing staff base of over 9500 employees across Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad, the Head of HR orchestrates GHR Service delivery across all CoEs and provides strategic HR business partnering to the key senior business leaders. The incumbent will represent the GHR function in relevant governance bodies and will also have responsibility for regulatory compliance of all GHR activities within the country. The Head of HR collaborates with global COE and HRBP leaders to ensure that the India based GHR team operates as \'one GHR\' irrespective of whether they deliver support locally or globally. This role has a dual reporting line to the Senior HR Business Partner International and the Country Head, India and can be based in either Hyderabad or Bangalore. This role is high profile and has visibility across the enterprise given the global nature of the businesses supported from India and the evolving strategic priorities. What you will be responsible for Delivering HR strategies that attract, engage, develop and retain talent in India. Ensuring quality service of the full suite of HR offerings to all business lines and corporate groups in India. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on important talent issues. Coach, mentor and guide leaders on organizational effectiveness. Leading, developing and engaging a multi-disciplined HR team. Partnering with clients to build business cases that support investment in talent initiatives including performance management, organizational design, workforce planning and change management. Supporting senior leadership in developing a culture of diversity and inclusion and promotes our values. Mitigating risk by ensuring employment processes, practices and procedures are compliant with STT policies, risk and governance and India employment laws and regulations. Working collaboratively with our JV partners on mutually beneficial talent initiatives. Providing data and analytics to support business insights and decisions. Seek and share people related market trends and competitor intelligence. Building collaborative relationships with global HRBPs and COEs to ensure the talent related needs in India are being met. Ensuring the successful execution of global HR strategies, programs and initiatives into India Member of the India senior management team and the GHR Leadership Team. Role Qualifications & Experience: Educational qualifications - Bachelor\'s degree in the HR discipline from a reputed university 15+ years of related work experience leading HR teams experience working for a global company is particularly helpful Well versed with Indian labor laws and future revised labor codes Technical/functional HR expertise developed through extensive, senior experience across the broad spectrum of HR disciplines. Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategy which supports business goals and objectives. Strong commercial acumen, preferable in the financial services industry. Ability to lead, develop and build large, multi-functional HR teams. In depth working knowledge of the India employment market, regulations and culture. Excellent communications skills Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with all levels of management both locally, regionally and globally. Are you the right candidate Yes!
