Your Role: Your role is to stand-up and lead global business services department that supports a high growth, outsourced business. Key attributes of the role are as follows: Establish best in class Global Business Service organisation focussing on solutions to enhance the customer and employee experience, driving efficiencies and quality Be a growth player, partner the markets with reporting and analytics insight and exceptional experience Enable the ekaterra markets to focus on driving growth and profitability Cross functional Global Business Services approach will be used to leverage scale, efficiencies, and consistent monitoring of controls Globally standardised operating model driving a lean and effective organisation Continuous improvement and process excellence will be central to the Global Business Services organisation Develop talent with right mix of business intimacy and shared services Future Fit organisation that can scale for future growth (organic and acquisitions) Your Key Tasks: Drive design of future operating business financial services. Establishment of a fully separated GBS function which can provide the full-service requirement without assistance from Unilever. Shared Services function will continue to utilize third party service providers to assist in the service delivery of Finance activities. Full ownership and custodianship of GBS E2E processes incl leading the implementation of process and technology changes needed to enable GBS operations for standalone. Transform and transition GBS design, including deployment, testing and implementation Set up design to Manage GBS tier 2 operations globally in S4 Hana system Drive adherence to ekaterra Control Framework. Drive ongoing process and technology changes in GBS operations. Partner with 3rd party service provider, business stakeholders, controls, IT and other support functions to provide seamless service delivery and innovative projects. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the GBS towers Drive best in class customer/user/supplier experience Drive continuous improvement and ensure service levels are available, monitored and met Managing a large team (40FTE tier 2 and oversight tier 3 outside service provider) and consider future plans for further expansion Tier 1 Central & Local -Finance / Function teams Tier 2 Global Business Services Tier 3 3PSP Processes in scope for the GBS service hub: Record to report Source to Pay Masterdata management Controls Service centre Supply chain finance services Information and analytics Stakeholder Management and key interfaces: Ekaterra group CFO and Finance leadership team Blossom S4H establishment team Local management in the markets and supply chain organizations Accenture tier 3 organization ekaterra group accounting and controlling team ekaterra procurement teams ekaterra local finance teams ekaterra IT department Required Knowledge and Experiences A very senior leader, with least 15 years of experience in a complex GBS/BPO environment with tier 1, 2 and 3 organizations Ability to work in a 'start up' environment, experience developing policies, processes, and strategy. Experience of managing large teams including recruiting, developing, and coaching a team, setting the direction, driving execution, and initiating change. Experience in consumer goods industry is a plus Required Skills and personality Good understanding of Masterdata, Record to Report, Source to pay, S2P and controls processes Good understanding of financial accounting and controls (incl lease accounting) Transformation and change management skills Strong network in near and offshore service hubs Team player, incl being able to challenge your colleagues and other stakeholders Keeping high standards in terms of integrity and quality of output Structured and process & policy oriented Being able to work and deal with deadlines, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance Excellent communication skills (in English) Excited about the Role Please apply online.
