Close and Control (C&C, being Record to Report plus Finance Controllership) has end to end responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of monthly actuals and all associated controls as required by the GSK Internal Control Framework, for the majority of GSK Corporate and Commercial entities. Order to Cash (O2C, being Credit Management to Collections) is responsible for the collection and accurate cash application of all GSK trade receivables To succeed in this role, we are looking for an individual who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business, has demonstrated the ability to build strong professional relationships with senior management and has exceptional interpersonal skills. This role requires someone who is passionate about driving performance through continuous and digital improvement, seeking out innovative solutions to complex problems and having a strategic mindset. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective governance to ensure: Completion of accurate and timely delivery of all C&C and O2C activities across the regional hubs and external BPO in line with standard operating procedures and outcome KPI targets. Appropriate control environment across all processes through delivery and testing of controls at Level 1 to 3 (management monitoring, independent business monitoring, external audit) with results in line with outcome KPI targets and SOX requirements. Provide leadership: To inspire and lead a global organisation of 500 colleagues and to develop and deliver in line with GSK, Finance and GFS Thriving People strategies and expectations. To proactively manage any risk of delivery failure which could lead to reputational risk, fines / penalties, audit failures, enterprise-wide continuity issues, working capital impact. Deliver and develop leading system and process improvement plans: For the short, medium and long term, developing and driving continuous and digital improvement Roadmaps for all C&C and O2C processes and systems to ensure ultimate achievement of externally benchmarked overall best in class performance, by ensuring delivery against our five GFS Strategic Outcomes (Thriving people, User experience, Service Management, Quality and Compliance, Cost to Serve), and thereby driving value to enable GSK to get #Ahead Together. Play an enterprise role as a senior member of our wider GFS Leadership team (GFSLT) and contribute to ensure that GFS delivers as expected, in the right way and with the right strategy across: GFS scope of C&C, O2C (this role) plus Purchase to Pay and Trading Partner Finance. Supported by other GFSLT senior roles covering Strategy, Service Management & Value Delivery, Finance Business Partner & Control, ICSS Head, Head of Engagement & Experience and Global Operations Lead, GSK operations (Genpact).
