Role Summary

As a business development head, you will be closely working with multiple stakeholders across the government sector to build the partnership. You will be involved in identifying key stakeholders, developing and implementing a strategy for engagement, maintaining connections, and building these into effective working partnerships.

Key Responsibility

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for driving network and revenue growth by aggressively driving strategic alliances/partnerships

Build & scale partnerships for charging and swapping infrastructure o Identify a strong pipeline of network partners (private & Government/quasi-Government) to rapidly scale Yulu Energy\xe2\x80\x99s presence in key cities

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as building partnership with Govt. entities such as the Central Government, PWD, BMC, police, BBMP, BMTC, BMRCL, Department of Transport, SW Railways, BESCOM etc.
  • Liaison with various government departments for getting necessary information and Clarifications pertaining to setting up Y-max station Sanctions and approvals.
  • Build rapport with local authorities in terms of legal aspects of documentation and prepare Agreements/ Contracts and execute the same.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team across the organization o Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and relevant Government authorities.
Partner with OEMs and fleet partners for scaling Yulu Energy\xe2\x80\x99s Battery-as-a-Service business: o Identify a strong pipeline of customers (OEMs or fleet partners) who can potentially use Yulu Energy\xe2\x80\x99s Battery-as-a-Service at scale.
  • Work closely with Yulu engineering & customers to develop & customize Battery-as-a-Service for customers spanning multiple form factors.
  • Negotiate and close deals with new customers to ensure a sustainable revenue stream for Yulu Energy.
  • Work closely with Yulu\xe2\x80\x99s Engineering, Revenue & Operations & Customer Support teams to manage timely & effective execution of partnership goals o Address the customer life-cycle post sales and set up account management for managing partnership goals, expectations and driving critical improvements
Key Requirements

\xe2\x97\x8f 10-12 years of experience with an MBA from a Tier 1 institute or an engineering degree from Tier 1 institute.

\xe2\x97\x8f A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Business Development function.

\xe2\x97\x8f A proven track record to navigate large organizations to strike strategic partnerships and generate demand would be essential.

\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of micro market real estate dynamics in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.

\xe2\x97\x8f A go-getter with ability and agility to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

\xe2\x97\x8f High perseverance, excellent verbal, and written communication.
