The position / About the Job:

The Business Development Manager- Energy Separation Process will be Responsible for business deveopment activities in renewable Chemicals , fuels , bio-plastics and mining and continuously enhance & develop market potential for Energy separation within the India region to achieve the defined targets for the Business.

Business Development Manager will be responsible for \xe2\x80\x93

  • Executing Business Unit \xe2\x80\x93 Energy Separation sales strategies in alignment with the overall Alfa Laval sales strategy.
  • Obtaining the insights about Alfa Laval product and applications range and strengthening the marketing efforts.
  • Taking responsibility of identifying opportunities within the region in consultation with and guidance of Business Unit Manager .
  • Obtaining trust and developing long term relationships with customers, key customer accounts and potential customers within the territory.
  • Building network with existing / new Customers, EPCs , Consultants & Consulting engineering companies and new entrants in Energy sector for enhancing business prospects.
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Ensure deep understanding of process knowledge , customer needs & requirements and create value in our offering/ quotes to customers
  • Mapping of business potential and conversion of potential into real business volume- Assist to increase business volume.
  • Networking and understanding developments in terms of economic/business development, customer\xe2\x80\x99s business expansion plans, product localization requirements, pricing dynamics etc.
  • Participate in seminar and promote Alfa Laval Separation technology for renewable chemicals, fuels, bio-plastics , mining
  • Interact with all stakeholders for the business development and conduct product trials
  • Provide insights, specific details on monthly/ quarterly /yearly basis for decision making at the corporate level.

  • 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of Capital goods Sales / Business Development specifically in Process Industries i.e Chemicals, renewables , Mining , bio plastics etc and exposure to working with EPCs , Consultants and Large customers in Energy sector in India
  • customer relations, Presentation and negotiating skills
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Engineering graduate with Mechanical / Chemical
  • Knowledge on Separation technology will be an added advantage.
