Job Description


Job Purpose :
You will be accountable End-to-end management of applications, infrastructure and ERP system to ensure efficient functioning of business operations. Define IT roadmap for the organization and oversee implementation of IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Roadmap Formulation :

  • Partner with business process owners to support business process redesign by introducing new tools for developing effective and user-friendly IT environment
  • Evaluate new technologies that will reduce time and effort of reporting; resolve IT incidents and help mitigate departmental risks by streamlining associated processes via automation and re-engineering
  • Plan the IT strategy and roadmap for implementation of initiatives; Receive inputs and approvals from Director D&T on IT initiatives and business cases

IT Infrastructure and Applications Management:
  • Drive implementation of initiative in an effective way with the help of team, vendors and department heads without hampering continuous operations of the organization
  • Ensure upkeep and maintenance of IT infrastructure and network for all plants, facilities and offices to ensure maximum uptime of all systems
  • Ensure timely upgradation of all software\xe2\x80\x99s and BI tools to provide fast and effective services to end-users
  • Ensure all IT related queries raised by end users are addressed and resolved within defined time frame to ensure smooth operations in UBL

IT Policies and Governance:
  • Engage with function heads, senior management and external agencies for defining IT related policies and procedures
  • Manage the security and risk management process of the organization by identifying potential risks/errors and establishing risk mitigation plans and actions
  • Conduct IT audits for finding out loopholes in the IT and business systems; maintain the error register and report to the senior management with action plan
  • Monitor IT operation and performance closely and review IT related complaints for better governance and control

Vendor Management:
  • Identify, negotiate and contract an external vendor for implementation of IT initiatives and define the performance standards/SLA
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with all vendors to drive IT operations and implement initiatives and look out for possible options for IT development in UBL
  • Perform periodic reviews with the vendors to ensure that the service levels are maintained as per the decided norms

Education : Master degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, engineering or a related discipline
Skills :
  • Able to navigate and reconcile divergent stakeholder views to avoid delay or impact on product delivery
  • Able to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders through credibility, trust, and rapport at all levels, both within and outside of the organisation
  • Strong understanding of business and processes
  • Navigate senior relationships and support effective decision making throughout the products
