Position Title: Head of HR & Marcom
Business Area: Volvo Financial Services India
Job Location: Bangalore
Reporting: President, Volvo Financial Services India
Travel: Occasional

Introduction:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to head the Human Resources/People and Culture function for Volvo Financial Services in India (VFS India). The successful candidate will also be responsible for Marketing and Communication (Marcom) activities for the company.
The individual will be a member of senior management team and will report directly to the President, VFS India.

Key Areas of Responsibility
As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you will:

• Drive people, culture, diversity, and financial agenda for the business
• Support business leaders in organization development activities such as: workforce planning, design of position profiles, individual development plans, personal business plans, and effective organizational planning
• Drive and lead all strategic local HR initiatives, and represent VFS in India HR Country Committee
• Advice and coach Business Leaders on various HR processes and other critical activities
• Strategically contribute to meeting business objectives through workforce planning, recruiting, competence reskilling and upskilling, organizational design, and development
• Function as a change agent where you drive engagement by creating a trusting relationship with colleagues and senior leaders to enable a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset
• Provide training and facilitation resources to the business as needed
• Secure global alignment on key HR initiatives
• Champion the Volvo culture as well as assure alignment of management actions with Volvo Group values and principles

As Marketing and Communications specialist, you will:

• Develop and execute the internal communication plan to increase employee engagement, drive understanding of business priorities and manage change through communications
• Plan and deliver internal communication events (e.g., digital town halls), taking end to end responsibility for planning, content, and stakeholder alignment
• Support with external customer events as needed
• Be a brand custodian for VFS India
• Develop marketing plans within budget requirements and create/manage content calendar
• Collaborate with all business functions and Business areas to identify internal and external customer needs

Education & Professional Experience:

• M.B.A or equivalent professional
• Minimum 5 plus years of related experience in HR management
• Prior experience with responsibility for some combination of: recruitment, talent management, organizational development, training and change management.
• Thorough knowledge of Indian Labor Law preferable and HR professional practices

Competencies & skills

• Understand recruitment, selection and compensation process, involve functional expertise as needed
• Good Knowledge of Indian, Talent Market and labor law
• Ability to interact comfortably at all levels in the organization
• Good level of communication and consulting skills
• An energetic forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical and work standards
• Ability to see the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d and help implement the company\'s strategy as a team player
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/issues and stay focused
• Target-driven, self-motivated and willing to take responsibility
• Established proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of presentation skills
