Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be focus on improving coordination and collaboration with the Honeywell ICT Infrastructure & Remote Operations Team, Cybersecurity Operations Team team. Supporting the HBOC team to align their ICT infrastructure to the Honeywell standard and best practices in the market. To achieve this this role will also require from you: Close coordinating with Honeywell product testing and RD teams Influencing the teams to include HBOC requirements in all new products You will also be required to be a change agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardising of best practices and processes across the HBOC teams commercial offering, supporting the sales team providing guidance and technical documentation to align the proposal to the Honeywell standard for the HBOC teams. Support HBOC ICT infrastructure network including remote connections to customer networks and those services and instances running on Azure. As part of your role you will responsible of keeping the infrastructure aligned with the HON policies and standards. Support the HBOC teams installing HON BMS software and products. You will also help the team with advance configurations and automating tasks, specially Niagara based supervisors. Undertake pre-planned maintenance activities across the HBOC ICT Infrastructure. You\'ll identify faults across the HBOC ICT infrastrucure and rectify them where needed, or work with other departments in or outside Honeywell to get it fix. You will drive timely identification, Investigation, Resolution, Root Cause analysis and Replication of Technical issues related with the connection between the HBOC ICT infrastructure and our customers BEMS systems/ This role will support the HBOC team adoption of centralised tools, including connected services (Honeywell Remote Monitoring platform, HAES (Anti-Virus)/Next Gen Antivirus, LastPass, Secure Connect, Forge, etc.), hosting in MS Azure, improve compliance and consistency, reduce our GBE delivery costs, and start to optimise/deliver on remote. Identify strategic Honeywell or third party product and solutions which complement the HBOC team strategy and work with the different stake holders to get them implemented. With ever-increasing integration and connectivity, Cyber Security and Data Protection have become critical requirements and considerations in how we offer, design and deliver services to our customer specially in the Global HBOC team. In line with the Honeywell organisation and standards, this role will aid the improvement and governance of HBOC teams cyber security capabilities and standards across the globe to ensure the Honeywell Global HBOC teams are maintaining secure solutions for our customers, in line with industry standards and practices. Provide expert advice using current technical knowledge as to the procurement, configuration and implementation of the underlying architecture and technologies for the infrastructure required to support the HBOC teams operations, with the aim of ensuring cyber security, supportability, expansibility and flexibility. Work with the Data Privacy team to keep an up to date catalogue of assests and fulfil internal PIA processes. Identify areas of innovation, technical excellence and best practices through knowledge sharing internally (regionally and globally) and externally to facilitate HBOC teams to become the go-to business for clients, star performers and employees. Ensure project management methodologies are followed in the addition of new ICT packages into the HBOC ICT infrastructure, and appropriate change management for server software upgrades, significant system changes and implementation of any new Honeywell product features or versions in the HBOC portfolio. Develop effective working relationships with Honeywell\'s TAC teams, Product testing teams, systems users and software vendors, to ensure systems can be well maintained, used effectively, and that requests for action to correct system problems can be attended to effectively and promptly. Ensure that skills are maintained and enhanced in \'specialist\' area(s) relating to product knowledge, services knowledge, or industry knowledge Self-direction in identifying and suggesting training opportunities Provide proactive, engaged leadership for team members (including direct and indirect reports) with a focus on professional development and team optimization Liaise with third party providers on non BMS related problems ensuring we deliver enhanced customer service Represent technical issues form both Field Service and Customers sites at the appropriate technical forums. Driving energy savings through applying BMS expertise or extending the BMS using third party Honeywell approved software or even software created within the team members. Liaise with Service Account Handlers to resolve customer queries Ensure the achievement of all team / individual targets and KPI\'s Work closely with Technical Support Team & Engineering Teams on Product Issues Carrying out development project work to enhance Global Services Offering Contribute in the design and development of new onsite and remote technical services, which address the customer\'s intelligent building needs QUALIFICATIONS: Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education in Information Technology/Systems or Computer Science (Essential) or Automation/Electronics Engineering. Alternatively have a good grounding in Engineering or qualification with experience. Knowledge of the principles, associated with BMS, Plant and Energy Management. Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft), VCP (VMware), CCNA (Cisco) or similar. Good interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills Effective communicator with a flexible approach to team work. Current and demonstrated knowledge and systems experience at a senior level in an enterprise environment with the following technologies: Windows Servers Microsoft Active Directory Services Virtualisation Technologies (VMware preferred) Networking, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN SAN Storage (iSCSI / Fibre Channel) Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft Terminal Services / Citrix Experience with security frameworks such as: ISO 27001, NIST Guidelines Desirable Information Security accreditation (CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent) Demonstrate a level of understanding of typical HVAC and mechanical plant operations (i.e. an understanding of Boilers, Chillers, VT & CT circuits, AHU\'s, Packaged Roof Top Units, etc.) ITIL - IT Service Management Certification Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Knowledge in scripting language for automation, preferably Powershell. Be capable of understanding and write technical requirements and code the scripts using. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Javascript and MS Visual Basic, and advanced knowledge in SQL and windows server administration will be valuable. EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a technical lead role identifying and leading new initiatives and transformational change programmes across multiple areas of the business. This includes driving technology and innovation to improve margins and increase productivity. Experience with Testing and Qualification of Hardware and Software, ability to develop and implement testing processes. Experience across ICT infrastructure, networking, security principals, software, systems, applications, integration, virtualization, and storage technologies as well as best practice for design and implementation. 5+ years\' experience BEMS engineer, IT Systems Engineer or equivalent capacity. Experience with Azure and other cloud based IAAS services. Experience in networking, servers, storage, virtualisation, IT security and enterprise applications.
