Secure the design and integration of electronics in the Mechanical products:
- Water tightness of electronic cavities
- Elastomer seals and metal gaskets
- Liquid seal, potting and gel
- vents membranes
- Thermal interfaces: gap filler, thermal pad
In charge of:
- Design reviews
- Support to engineering teams
- Capitalization & standardization
- Technical trainings
- Continuous improvement & innovation
Responsibilities
Design Reviews
Performs the Design Reviews on site or remotely
Assesses the implementation of his (her) standards and the technical risks based on a detailed checklist.
Defines with the engineering teams the relevant action plan and tracks the progress.
Assesses de-standardization requests issued by the project teams.
Support to engineering teams
Supports the engineering teams to solve difficult technical issues when needed.
Supports by participating to customer or supplier meetings when needed.
Promotes usage of standards. Develops team spirit with engineering teams.
Capitalization & standardization
Creates & maintain technical standards to capitalize the expertise.
Technical training
Develops & maintains the training modules covering his (her) standards.
Performs training to worldwide engineering teams (through a Technical Institute)
Coach new-comers and junior engineers
Continuous improvement & innovation
Ensures continuous improvement of standards through development of technologies & product functions, innovation
and technology watch.

More than 10 years experience:
- automotive industry (or related industry)
- Project and product development: V cycle, project management methodologies
- Deep knowledge of sealing technologies, design and process, for on-board Mechatronic products
- Elastomer seals, metal gaskets
- Cleaning and plasma activation process
- dispensing and polymerization processes for potting, liquid seal, glue
- tightness tests
- An experience on a production plant would be appreciated
- Good communication and Fluent in English.
