As Group Manager for Diagnostics Data team on site in Bangalore you will lead a Agile team of engineers to develop diagnostic methods and operations, to be integrated in aftermarket diagnostic tools and systems. Develop diagnostic method information (fault tracing procedure) for a given vehicle/powertrain function (including e-mobility) Together with your colleagues and co-workers you will find yourself in a global environment spanning four continents coming together in delivering diagnostic solutions to customers using our products all over the world. The team you lead will follow Safe Agile methodologies to deliver Products and solutions Your responsibility is to lead the group and manage deliveries in start cost, maintenance, and advanced engineering projects. You are also expected to drive change by continuously driving for a Lean Engineering setup. In this position you will also be part of the Global Diagnostic Management Team, and report to the Global Director of Diagnostics positioned in Gothenburg. Accountabilities / Responsibilities Lead the Bangalore Diagnostics team to deliver Diagnostic Solutions to the VOovo Group Products Facilitate Agile process knowledge to all team members Manage the budget and resource planning for the team Actively drive change according to the global strategies and Way of working Cultivate an Agile mindset in all team members where problems are embraced as welcome opportunities to adapt Be part of the Global Diagnostics Management Team, and AMT Bangalore management team Know our products / soft offers / customer needs, in order to secure the QDCF for each project Build an effective and highly productive team Drive Continuous Improvement mindset As a leader you are expected to: Have good people skills and strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams Have Customer focus Have networking skills, with the ability to interact with persons in different organizations and in different hierarchical levels Have courage and integrity Lead and act according to Volvo values, champion the culture and promote diversity Drive for result Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Minimum BS degree in Engineering; Masters Degree preferred 3-5 years previous management with direct supervisory experience Experience from Product development preferred Experience within the Embedded SW area, and Diagnostics preferred Experience working in a continental /global and cross functional organization Knowledge of the overall business fundamentals, customer needs and key players in the transportation industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Leadership Competencies Take Lead and understand Business perspective Decision Quality in an ambiguous business situation Build Effective Teams Drive Engagement Action Oriented
