Today, NHPL has close to 9000 employees consisting of Pharmacists, scientists, doctors, chemists, statisticians, marketers and top-drawer finance professionals working for in all functions ranging from research and development of drugs in multiple geographies to driving their commercialization all based out of Hyderabad. This role will support the IMI Country BPAs and Hyd being the biggest hub of BPA across Novartis, the role will help in standardization and harmonization of majority of BPA activities. Your responsibilities include but not limited to: . Manage the execution of regional / global strategies for own part of the organization and the correct and timely implementation of BPA processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof. -Deliver core management reporting and financial planning processes to ensure the effective and timely delivery of insightful, recurring or ad-hoc financial information. . Lead the development of detailed budget and financial forecasts for use in Global and Regional, country, Business Franchise (BF), and Business Unit (BU) planning. Design and maintain early warning systems for financial tracking, ensuring accurate advance warning for all financial results. . Proactively drive performance and carry out value-added analyses on financial data: Sales trends, Functional Expenses, Other Income and Expenses, Impairment review, Management Cash Flow, Capital Investments, life time costs for projects, NPV etc . Support the organization\'s leadership team with financial analysis (including Risks & Opportunities analysis), cost analysis and control and drive corrective actions. Conduct value added analyses, e.g. Resource Allocation, Profitability analyses, Benchmarking to recommend short -and long-term targets and improvement areas. . Manage and ensure the development of a team of experienced BPA professionals. -Provide leadership in preparing business cases, participating and value adding in key negotiations for mid size investments and programs/projects for the domain/sub domains. Lead the 1FP & Forecast process. This is an extensive & end to end process which starts with defining the process/timelines, alignment with the countries, presenting the consolidated proposal to CPO Head and Region Europe team, giving guidance/Target letters to countries, ensuring the prompt submissions by countries and finally sign-off submissions to RE. . Created a WEC FP&A Head community (WEC PBLT), Leads this monthly meeting by driving operations & planning related topics. Provide analytical expertise and thought leadership by going beyond Internal Performance to looking into External Performance & Commercial & Medical Excellence KPI tracking. Helping leadership driving the top line performance by providing analytics on Internal Performance KPI\'s, External/Market Performance KPI\'s & Field Force productivity. . Helping CPO Head & CFO in building the story for the business review meeting with RE Represents the WEC cluster in the Region Europe PBLT Forum. On a monthly basis reviews the cluster AI projections & present the results/findings in the Region Europe AI meetings. Help the CFO in Organizing Half yearly WEC Finance townhall. Presented the cluster financials (100+ Finance professionals). . People management responsibility of Mid-big team, including coaching and mentoring of the associates. Strategic thinking and driving new ideas/concepts Diversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements What you\'ll bring to the role: . 12 - 14 years of FP&A or BPA experience. Strong curiosity and understanding of new Technologies & their impact on Business. . Excellent communication skills, Self-starter, Eye for details, accuracy oriented. .Able to collaborate across teams and advise team members to prioritize various deliverables . Project strong business acumen and ability to support ad-hoc requests (e.g., data research and analysis, business case development etc.) . Experience of interacting / operating with senior leadership with an ability to influence decision-making. Strong Initiative skills to effectively work remotely and autonomously. .
