Job Role: Manager International Project Finance and M&A (Corporate)

Location: Hybrid in India

Reporting to: Global Head- Project Finance (US Corporate office)

:

- Build & maintain robust financial models for each acquisition project from the start of the development process through the successful closing of the investment and/or financing.

- Prepare robust three-statement models for the groups projects while comprehending both GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and work with internal accounting teams and audit consultants.

- Prepare quantitative and qualitative summaries to present to senior management & investors for investment decisions. Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets, cash flow forecasts, etc.)

- Support the process for a financial partner/lender selection, including preparing teasers, CIMs

- Project related- Support senior team members in identifying contract, economic and financial risks and advise on appropriate mitigation measures and contingencies.

- Support senior team members in the structuring, negotiating, and execution of transactions.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering

- MBA from premier institute with CFA/FRS and/or equivalent certifications

Experience As Associate :

- Experience in developing and utilizing detailed financial models, with project finance, structured finance, and accounting component. Converting words (agreements, regulation docs etc) into numbers (financial models)

- Experience with comprehending contracts and identifying risks in project execution from a lender/equity investor perspective

- Experience conducting investment analysis, ideally in the renewable energy, power, or Infrastructure sector at a developer, fund, bank, or consultant.

- Experience with understanding corporate balance sheets and financial statements in the context of leverage buyouts and arranging finance for M&A

- Structured and well organized, with strong analytical skills, and a strong liking for building insight-driven financial models

- Ability to handle multiple assignments across cross-functional, cross-national and cross-cultural teams concurrently with a high degree of accuracy

- Be comfortable working across time zones and remote locations with minimal supervision

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment
