JOB DESCRIPTION - GOVERNMENT SALES - IT Company - Modi Infosol Pvt Ltd. Locations \xe2\x80\x93 Delhi Our company is looking for a Government Sales person in IT. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Government Sales IT Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology (IT) sales, with a focus on selling products and services to government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the government sector and for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with government clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels, including identifying key decision-makers and influencers within these organizations. 2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government clients, including understanding their unique needs and challenges and providing tailored IT solutions and services to address them. 3. Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to develop customized sales proposals and presentations that address the specific requirements of government clients. 4. Stay informed about government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, and ensure that all sales activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations. 5. Lead the preparation and submission of proposals and bids in response to government requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and other procurement opportunities. 6. Coordinate with technical and solution architects to ensure that proposed IT solutions meet the technical specifications and requirements outlined in government solicitations. 7. Negotiate contracts and pricing with government clients, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with company objectives and profitability targets. 8. Track and analyze key performance metrics related to government sales activities, including pipeline development, deal closure rates, and revenue attainment. 9. Stay up-to-date on government IT priorities, initiatives, and funding opportunities, and identify new avenues for business development within the government sector. 10. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events attended by government procurement professionals, and actively network with potential government clients. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on selling to government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, including experience with federal contracting vehicles such as GSA schedules and IDIQ contracts. \xc2\xb7 Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and building relationships with government clients. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. \xc2\xb7 Ability to travel as needed to meet with government clients and attend industry events (estimated travel: 25-30%).
