You will join a team of Supply Chain professionals supporting the global FLSmidth business. The team members of the virtual team are based in the Americas, Europe/Africa and Asia/Pacific as well as Chennai and Copenhagen, driving logistics optimisation to support the global FLSmidth business.
Role
Reporting to the Business Project Manager of the TMS (Transport Management System) Implementation, based in the global headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark, in this role as Global TMS Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving TMS administration, maintenance & implementation of enhancements.

Your responsibilities
Act as primary point of contact between FLS logistics community and TMS supplier, coordinate system issue resolution towards internal users, FLS IT help desk and TMS supplier. \xe2\x80\x8b
Coordinate with the TMS supplier the configuration and update of the system to suit the business needs and fix anomalies discovered by the users during daily operations.\xe2\x80\x8b
Tracking and harvesting synergies as per the business case.\xe2\x80\x8b
Drive compliance through the organisation using TMS data.\xe2\x80\x8b
Subject matter expert to handle the master data set-up, collection and maintenance of TMS (i.e. rate management, locations, optimisation rules, etc).\xe2\x80\x8b
Own and maintain the master data used in the TMS (including but not limited to location, region, network leg, rates, accessorial, service provider, service time, distance, equipment group, calendars, etc).\xe2\x80\x8b
Support data mining requests from internal databases and TMS to assist with data analysis and Power BI dashboards.\xe2\x80\x8b
Perform data check & match of TMS freight audit (FA) file and Accounts Payable tool. \xe2\x80\x8b
Support TMS launch activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training of internal users.\xe2\x80\x8b
Assist integration of ERPs, rate repository systems, carrier integration and others with TMS.\xe2\x80\x8b
Lead the efforts to define the business needs for integration with TMS and drive future enhancements.\xe2\x80\x8b
Effectively document and translate business requirements into system requirements.\xe2\x80\x8b
Drive implementations/upgrades/updates and application enhancements with internal users and TMS supplier
What you bring
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, information technology or related field.\xe2\x80\x8b
Ideally, +3 years of experience with using, setting up and maintaining a Transport Management System, preferably Oracle Transport Management System. \xe2\x80\x8b
2+ year of working experience in Logistics operations \xe2\x80\x8b
Expert user in MS Excel. Knowledge of software such as Power BI (or similar BI tool)\xe2\x80\x8b
Experience or knowledge with OTM, rate management, master data, bulk planning parameters and shipment management.\xe2\x80\x8b
Ideally experience with network optimisation projects\xe2\x80\x8b
Thorough understanding of IT processes and procedures relative to system launch, drafting system level requirement and UAT, and roll out of enhancements. \xe2\x80\x8b
Relevant experience in implementing improvement initiatives, Lean, Six Sigma, etc will be a plus.\xe2\x80\x8b
Proficient in English. Other languages will be a plus
