About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In the Diabetes Commercial Unit, we are a passionate team helping 26+ million people with diabetes achieve better health through superior products and solutions. We drive the commercial strategy across a strong portfolio of both launch and life-cycle management products.

The Position

As a Global Project Manager you will fulfill the following responsibilities:

Utilize knowledge of competitor products, trends, and activities to create effective product differentiation which enhances project plans, tactics, and product positioning. Utilize knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry to generate insights, develop strategies and tactics. Leading project and related initiatives for Modern Insulins, New Generation insulins, Glucagen and NovoNorm .

Proactively lead and support global project team on key lifecycle management projects (new launch, label extensions). Assessment of Label Change Approvals and Product Approval Process System (new launch or discontinuation) request through legacy system. Commercial lead for external collaboration with pump manufacturers and active member of External Pump Collaboration Group. Representing global commercial as PVP (Project Vice President) delegate in various committees - Launch Coordination Group, Discontinuation Core Group, Safety Committee.

Support team in updating PDP (Product Development Plan) and assist in securing necessary approvals. Supporting Time in Range initiatives and help by providing commercial inputs. Support affiliates with clinical trial planning/ decisions and preparation of possible mitigation plan.

Developing Risk Management plans and periodic updates and support development of Loss of Exclusivity, Life Cycle Management business cases, sales forecasts and tracking, break even analysis and presentations for New Generation Insulins/ Modern Insulins and Product Development Plan support.

  • Insulin update meetings - driving the agenda, logistics and presentation for the insulin update meeting
  • Defines project scope, goals to be reached, expected deliverables, stakeholder mapping, estimated cost and timeline for medium complexity projects in medium scale, and secures project approval.
  • Understands all functional deliverables & interaction processes needed to ensure a successful annual strategy and planning process. Understands organisational set-up of respective countries and establishes structured contact to local stakeholders.
Qualification
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree; an MBA degree is preferred
  • Good academic track records and grades
  • 6+ years in Marketing/Project Management/ Healthcare market research related experience within Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (VBA, pivot etc.) and MS Word is a must

  • Ability to work on cross functional teams & to develop accurate short and long-term plans
  • Excellent communication and project management skills to ensure timely execution and follow-up
  • Planning, Execution and Follow-Up - effectively prioritizes and spends his/her time and the time of other on what is important
  • Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process
  • Conceptualize and think strategically with the ability to look beyond the data (generation of new communications approaches)
  • Ability to get an overview of data sets and interpret results, generate insights and recommend strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and content writing skills
  • Ability to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, requiring minimal supervision to consistently deliver outstanding results
  • The candidate is expected to exhibit a high degree of flexibility and agility as the nature & timing of the assignment of deliverables keeps changing with the ever-changing business dynamics
  • Demonstrate capability to take ownership and accountability of deliverables assigned and deliver within tight deadlines
