About the department Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters (HQ) in Denmark and Zurich, is based out of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers and publication manager working together with HQ, regions and affiliates across the world.
Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization; delivering external medical events including in-house content development and project management; and Publication planning.
The Position As a Global Project Manager in the Rare Disease Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for timely planning and proper execution of strategic projects focusing on "Key Opinion Leader engagement and management, along with driving medical product plans and strategies". An ideal candidate is expected to work closely with a global team of Medical Advisors, colleagues in the affiliate offices, vendors to effectively deliver on projects and drive change through innovation and insights in the organisation.
An ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and driving improvement projects across Rare Disease Medical Affairs and facilitating cross-functional collaboration opportunities across departments in GMA-GBS. The candidate will play a key role in stakeholder management and will be responsible for ensuring appropriate use of communication channels to proactively engage with vendors, Health care professionals (HCPs) and global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
This position requires one to be highly self-motivated, proactive, organised and have a passion for data, insights and metrics.
Experience · 3-5 years of experience in project management with master’s degree preferred or Graduates with equivalent work experience. · Experience in Medical Affairs is preferred but not limited to. · Demonstrates strong project management skills. · Exposure with planning, driving, implementing/executing the projects successfully. · Understands organizational set-up of respective countries and establishes structured contact with local stakeholders. · Good data interpretation and representation skills- should be able analyse trends and insights, so expertise in MS-excel and power point is preferred. · A self-driven, self-motivated and a strategic thinker who can work independently with minimal supervision. · Strong communication and Interpersonal skills are must for this role.
