About the department

The Commercial Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas including Insulin, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial GBS unit also supports global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In Obesity Therapy Area, we are focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and treated today, as well as increasing number of people who receive innovative treatments and quality care. In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the Commercial Global Business services (GBS) unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda\xc2\xae and Obesity & NASH pipelines.

The Position

This job is in Bangalore, India. International travel will be required for 5-10 days a year. You will join the global marketing team, driving strategic brand responsibilities. These responsibilities include:

  • Co-creation of core materials in close collaboration with cross-functional teams aligned with the global obesity HCP (healthcare professionals) market development strategy. Co-creation of MCE content to strengthen the Market Development initiatives across the value chain and creation of core pack aligned with the unbranded strategy.
  • Content creation from MCE (multichannel customer engagement) to enable the unbranded strategy. Mapping of strategic areas in the overall unbranded strategy to further the Market Development Ambition.
  • Drive execution of the MCE assets and customer journeys in line with the strategy, also drive the unbranded campaigns in alignment with the global priorities. Drive content creation and execution to support market development initiatives into newer specialties.
  • Preparing analytical dashboards to report on MCE content performance and provide inputs to continuously improve the performance of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Support in better practice sharing amongst regions and affiliates.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), medical sciences.
  • Master\'s Degree (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute.
  • 6+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical /Marketing/Medical Affairs/ Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 5+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing/management. Experience in OTC marketing is a plus.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex data-sets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Experience in digital implementation or MCE is preferred.
  • Understanding of the obesity therapy area is preferred.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Strong content writing skills.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
