About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations.

In the Diabetes GLP-1 area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brands.

The Position

This job is in Bangalore, India. International travel will be required for 5-10 days a year. You will join the Rybelsus\xc2\xae global marketing team, driving strategic brand responsibilities. These responsibilities include:

  • Support and/or drive tactics as defined in the global brand strategy.
  • Plan and execute global market research projects (including qualitative and quantitative) to enable brand insights generation and decision making in the global brand team.
  • Analysis of market insights and brand performance data. Prepare monthly performance report (sales & patients) for Rybelsus\xc2\xae and GLP-1 diabetes portfolio brands, incl. preparation of key observations/insights based on the data.
  • Prepare ad-hoc deliverables and presentations related to market & patient data for the Rybelsus\xc2\xae and GLP-1 diabetes marketing area. Certification and recertification of promotional material based on already approved core stories.
  • Drive preparation and update of brand newsletters, sales training materials and cycle release meetings. Support in better practice sharing amongst affiliates and support the team in the maintenance of the Veeva brand portal.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), Engineering (BTech).
  • Master\'s Degree (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute.
  • 6+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/ Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 3+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing/management.
  • Prior experience in market research and data analytics is preferred.
  • Preferred experience within chronic disease therapy areas.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Cycle material development and their application to maximise brand performance.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
