About the department The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unitis responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and ObesityMarketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing forHaemophilia and growth disorders.The Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy has established the ambition to become leaders in cardiovascular diseases as a distinct Therapy Area with in Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD). The commercial CVD team is therefore ramping up efforts to ensure and make the CVD therapy area a significant growth contributor for the company for the future. The position The owner of position should work closely with global and affiliate stakeholders based on the strategic objectives supporting commercial deliverables leading to the successful launch. The key deliverables are the following: . Primary market research such as preference share and drivers . Prescriber and patient population segmentation . Defining the positioning of pipeline products . Brand strategy . Commercial core story Required Qualification & Experience Master degree or above in relevant area Minimum formal project management training equivalent to 10 full days continued professional education 10+ year of pharmaceutical industry experience, with specific experience in early asset or marketing/brand strategy The therapy area is new to Novo Nordisk hence the incumbent should therefore have significant commercial experience in CVD or similar therapy areas such as rare diseases or Oncology. Experience working with pharmaceutical product or medical device development and marketisation (from R&D, marketing, market access or similar function). Preferably international exposure in a large organization. Working experience in major market or alternatively solid record of collaboration with major markets Strong stakeholder management skills and deep understanding of different functions across the value chain is must.
