About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. The Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy has established the ambition to become leaders in cardiovascular diseases as a distinct Therapy Area with in Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD). The commercial CVD team is therefore ramping up efforts to ensure and make the CVD therapy area a significant growth contributor for the company for the future.

The Position

The primary role of this position is to drive Access strategy and performance for OSCD by owning & establishing strong partnership with Denmark team. Access team at Commercial and Corporate Affairs, GBS should drive insights, access strategies, and perspective to ensure organization focuses on successful launches and develop future proof access strategies for upcoming launches. This function requires strong leadership, strategic outlook, commercial perspective, and ability to collaborate across organisational boundaries both in HQ and in Regions, Business Areas & affiliates. The primary responsibilities would be:

  • Develop and evolve OSCD access strategies & access materials to support commercial objective.
  • Strong collaboration with affiliates, region, business areas and other stakeholders to drive access objective and live the Novo Nordisk Way & develop the team as per NN way.
  • Ensure continuous innovation and optimize productivity by integrating and developing new tools & bring external perspective and ensure it is integrated with OSCD access GBS approaches.
  • Build newer capabilities to ensure organization achieve strategic objectives in newer therapy areas.
  • Continue developing strong future people management/leadership capabilities among the team and drive excellence in quality & execution.
Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree or above in relevant area.
  • 12 - 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical domain (preferably in commercial access domain
  • Good to have Diabetes and medical understanding.
  • Management experience exhibiting the following competencies:
  • Access strategy formulation.
  • Leadership.
  • Planning and organization.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to make data driven and fact-based decisions.
  • Quality mind-set.
  • Proven track record working in global and/or regional environment.
  • Fluent in written & spoken English with excellent communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Managerial experience, communication skills, initiative, decision making, flexible attitude.
