Job Overview:

Global Functions Technology (GFT) delivers innovative technology solutions and key global platforms for Citi's Global Functions division. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citi's strategic architecture and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controls.

We are looking for a talented SQL developer to work with Data model / Design/Development/Sql tuning. The SQL developer will work with ETL & Front-end developers in requirements gathering, design and implement highly performant data model to serve high volume of data.

To be successful as a SQL developer you should have excellent knowledge of SQL/ PLSQL, Oracle, OraaS, oracle DB Tuning concepts. In addition to this, you must work well in a team as there are several individuals involved in the development process.

Responsibilities:

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Conduct testing of completed applications & software to Assess user experience
• Design & Implement performant data model solutions
• Collaborate with other developers and programmers to improve performance & scaling.

Experience:

• Shell scripting
• 6-8 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing Oracle/OraaS, SQL development
• Detailed experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze Data Model
• Continued education and research into SQL development trends and current design strategy and technology
• Experience creating code to client's personalized needs and requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Knowledge of retail and/or investment banking products and lifecycle preferred
• Willing learn new technologies in a Big Data environment.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in finance or investment banking

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
