Group/Division Summary Fisher Clinical Services (FCS) is a part of the Clinical Trial Division/Pharma Services Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Fisher Clinical Services is the world leader in clinical supply chain management and related support services. It has a global network of packaging and distribution facilities. Position Summary Responsible for Fisher Clinical Services (FCS) India facility including day to day operations. Ensure systems and capacities are sufficient to meet FCS\'s storage needs. Independently develop strategies and tactics for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and profitability. Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the functional and financial control the facility including development and management of an annual business plan budget. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead, develop and expand current FCS facility located in Ahmedabad, India. Implement plans for the FCS facility including staffing levels and ambient, cold and frozen storage and equipment capacity. Lead country performance against agreed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Lead the internal India supply chain to ensure service levels are met Develop and maintain systems and procedures that ensure standards relating Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against establishes standards Supervise performance according to agreed standards and take vital action to meet the agreed performance levels Explore, implement and set up efficient distribution/delivery services in meeting business needs Authorize staff/organization structure alignment in agreement with APJ Director for Network Facilities Financial accountability as detailed in the Thermo Fisher Authorization Matrix Responsible for the strategic business decision in relation to new business opportunities Attract, develop, and retain diverse talent across junior to senior levels across the organization. Develop succession across the team Establish vision and performance goals for the team in alignment with team and Company priorities with a focus on getting results through 4i values and competency framework Education/Qualification Degree Level or/and equivalent in relevant subject Business management training -especially in business processes analysis/process improvement Experiences Senior level management in pharmaceutical or broad healthcare environment for 10 years or more Ability/Skills: Extensive knowledge of GMP/GDP environments. Knowledge of the clinical trial supply chain process Capable of contributing to the strategic direction of the business and able to work with FCS distribution department across the globe to achieve business objectives Commercial savvy and significant experience gained at a senior level within a pharmaceutical environment Knowledge of Materials Management Systems Ability to understand the clients requirements and to be able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions Teamwork especially in matrix management organization Ability to influence across functions, across Fisher sites and across companies to achieve objectives Proven networking skills - to network internally and externally with client organizations and other service providers Process analysis skill suitable to collect/analyze data leading to proposed process improvement with quantifiable business benefit Flexible and adaptable, with strong customer management skills Must be highly responsible whilst maintaining strategic direction Need to be comfortable with ambiguity Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
