The GDS Corporate Responsibility team takes a consistent, global approach to engage and inspire our people to use their skills, knowledge, experience and energy to significantly increase our social impact across all aspects of our business. The GDS CR Supervising Associate is a key role in the GDS CR function, supporting the GDS CR Central and India Leadership to facilitate the planning and execution of CR agenda, volunteering events and impact programs that tackle some of society's toughest challenges.

The GDS CR Supervising Associate is a key role in the GDS CR function, supporting the GDS CR Central team, locations and GDS CR Leadership. The role holder should leverage their experience and knowledge of managing medium to large CR portfolio of employee volunteering and project managing impact CR projects across GDS locations. The role holder should demonstrate a true passion for driving sustainable inclusive growth, using their position to connect change-makers across our business and networks, while channelling their knowledge, skills and experience to tackle some of society's toughest challenges
Your key responsibilities
  • Lead the development of CR strategy for volunteering events and employee engagements, supporting EY GDS's strategy refresh and tracking progress on Nextwave strategy.
  • Conceptualize, design, and project manage organisation level events that fosters volunteering culture in organization and build positive brand value for CR. Events include but are not limited to virtual volunteering events, fests hosted at large external venues, campaigns, etc.
  • Providing strategic guidance and consultation for location level programs, events, and other employee volunteering experiences, supporting communications and promotional materials.
  • Design strategic approach policies and recommend budget & creative direction for new events. Use sectoral and CR knowledge to strengthen the portfolio of employee engagement activities across GDS locations.
  • Evaluate and measure event's success through post-event evaluation; and producing event reports for CR team and leadership.
  • Project manage a suite of existing offerings, which may include skill-based volunteering opportunities that are available to our people and/or ecosystem platforms
  • Lead the continuous development of offerings and associated toolkits and deployment approaches, maintaining a strong understanding of user needs to ensure continued integrity and relevance to beneficiaries and EY people
  • Ensure the overall integrity of the offering portfolio, mitigating/managing the risks associated with large-scale global deployment
  • Work with the Measurement and Reporting team to ensure that employee participation and impact data relating to central and local initiatives are recorded, tracked and communicated as part of the wider CR functional strategy using appropriate data management tools and other communications formats.
  • Maintain GDS CR level repository of events, participants, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively partner with the Communications and Engagement team to create content and communication strategies that drive internal demand / participation for initiatives as well as raise EY GDS external brand in this area
  • Support relationship management with internal EY stakeholders and external relationships with third parties and beneficiaries
  • Support strategic projects on an ad hoc basis

To qualify for the role you must have
  • 5-8 years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience delivering large employee engagement / change programs
  • Experience working across geographies and cultures (good to have)
  • Experience engaging, influencing and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Experience delivering impactful communications
  • Flexibility to travel basis project needs
